Hi, I'm Tom! I'm a developer based in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. Back in 2013, when I was just 15, I already tried to build something full of ideas but without the knowledge to finish it. Now, over a decade later, I've turned those ideas into real products. I believe in lifelong learning, curiosity, and building things that make a difference.
I build native apps using Swift for Apple platforms and Kotlin for Android. Native development ensures optimal performance, smooth user experiences, and full access to platform specific features. By choosing native languages, each app feels natural on its platform and takes advantage of the latest OS capabilities.

Got an idea? Let's build your MVP.
MVP stands for Minimum Viable Product: the smallest version of your idea that is still useful. Not a half finished app, but a focused first release with the core features people need.
You launch earlier, learn from real users, and invest in what actually works, instead of spending months (and budget) building everything at once. I build that first version with you as a native iOS or Android app, a macOS tool, or a custom website.
-
Faster to market
Ship a working product sooner and start getting feedback while the idea is still fresh.
-
Real validation
See if people use it, what they miss, and what to build next — based on reality, not guesswork.
-
Smarter budget
Put money into the essentials first. Expand later when you know what matters.

Custom tools and CMS
Need something that is not a public app? I also build internal tools and content systems tailored to how you work: lean, custom, and without the weight of a generic platform.
-
A small CMS for your site
Update text, photos, and pages yourself — without WordPress or a page builder.
-
Shop or booking admin
A dashboard for products, orders, or appointments that matches how you actually work.
-
Internal helper tools
Automations, forms, or small Mac/web utilities that save time for you or your team.
On the web
My Websites
Two live sites for Studio Taupe, both built from scratch in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. No WordPress, no page builders, no plugin debt — just clean code shaped around photography and the shop.
Studio Taupe
Portfolio for the photo studio in Deventer. A custom gallery keeps landscape and portrait shots at a consistent height while preserving aspect ratios, so the grid stays calm and the images stay front and center. Rebuilt in 2025 without a CMS or plugins.

Studio Taupe Shop
Webshop for photography props designed and made in-house. Stripe Checkout for payments, a small Node backend for orders and email, and a purpose-built CMS to manage products — without off-the-shelf shop modules.
