Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Roastlist app for iOS, developed by Studio Taupe (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance

By using Roastlist, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of the app

Roastlist is a personal coffee journal. You can track beans, log brew setups, save drink recipes, and optionally sign in to sync data and use Discover. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. License to use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Roastlist for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and applicable App Store terms.

4. Your content

You are responsible for the journal entries, photos, recipes, and other content you create. Do not upload or share content that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

Content you create remains yours. If you publish recipes or a public profile via Discover, you grant us a license to display that content to other users as part of the service.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, harass other users, or use it in any way that could harm Studio Taupe, other users, or third parties. We may restrict or discontinue access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studio Taupe and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profit, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
